A couple who have gained a cult following online selling stylish activewear have earned $350,000 in 20 minutes after launching new ‘mini’ gym shorts.
Sydney STAX. founders Matilda Murray, 29, and Don Robertson, 32, dropped their latest collection ‘premium seamless version five’ (PSV5) on Friday November 12 that features the ‘mini lounge shorts’ priced at $49.95.
Since launching in 2015 the brand has gained a mass following and has caught the attention of A-list celebrities including actress Jennifer Lopez and singer Rita Ora.
The activewear brand is widely known for bringing back bike shorts as well as their must-have ‘naked gym shorts’.
Last week during an earlier pre-sale the brand earned $200,000 before the latest collection officially launched.

Prior to launching the brand held a 20-minute pre-sale which racked up $350,000 in 20 minutes
‘The pre-sale was completely unaccounted – nobody knew about it and was only available to VIP’s and those tuning into the live runway stream for our launch party last Friday night,’ Matilda told FEMAIL.
‘It was open for 25 minutes and totalled $200k – we took a chance as we’ve never done a surprise pre-sale before, and it was really well received!’
The shorts are available in six different colours – black, sage, blue, brown, beige and dark grey – and would be perfect for lounging around the house.
Made from a nylon spandex blend of a material, the shorts would be comfortable for all-day wear while offering a flattering look.
‘Seamless is a revolutionary new way of making activewear products – from the fit, to the colour pallet, our seamless collections really are ‘premium pieces’,’ Matilda said.
‘Every seamless release is a limited-edition collection which means people really need to get in quick to secure their favourite pieces.
‘We also tell a story with every collection drop and keep our customers involved throughout the whole process, from the design and creative process to the official launch – taking them on a journey with us.’

The latest collection was unveiled on a runway show at Sydney’s Carriageworks last week.
The shorts would be perfect to wear while lounging around the house or when going to brunch on the weekend.
In addition to the shorts, the collection features seamless full-length tights, ‘racer’ crop tops, long-sleeve tops and cropped singlets.
