Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr., also known as Scottie Pippen, was an American former professional basketball player who was born on September 25, 1965.
He was a 17-year veteran of the National Basketball Association (NBA), earning six titles with the Chicago Bulls. During the 1990s, Pippen and Michael Jordan were instrumental in developing the Bulls into a championship team and popularizing the NBA around the world.
Pippen, regarded as one of the best small forwards of all time, was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team eight years in a row and three times to the All-NBA First Team.
He was a seven-time NBA All-Star and the MVP of the 1994 NBA All-Star Game. During the 1996–97 season, he was voted one of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players, and he is one of four players whose jerseys have been retired by the Chicago Bulls (the others being Jerry Sloan, Bob Love, and Jordan).
Scottie Pippen’s Daughter Cause Of Death: What happened to Tyler Roby Pippen?
Taylor is the second oldest of the seven and was born on July 20, 1994. Taylor had a twin sister, Tyler, but Tyler tragically died in the hospital nine days after her birth.
Pippen initially denied the paternity of the twin girls with ex-girlfriend Sonya Roby, but a DNA test proved otherwise. He agreed to pay the outstanding medical bills and provide insurance, although Roby retained full custody.
