It’s hard to resist the allure of Atlanta, which was named the third largest entertainment hub in the United States, just behind Los Angeles and New York, in 2017.

The city seemed the perfect place for Jamaican-born model and influencer Raja Syn to settle down, after being raised in Brooklyn and Baltimore with her grandparents and mother and moving to California at the age of 17 following an unfulfilling semester at the University of Maryland. (Raja is sexy and smart. She graduated from high school a year early.)

“I moved to Atlanta for a fresh start after realizing Atlanta was the best place to start a career in entertainment as a black girl,” said the edgy model, whose work appears on Instagram (@rajasyn) and Onlyfans, among other sites.

In Georgia – home to myriad celebrities and influencers who have helped spark her burgeoning career – Raja is boldly pursuing work as a model and influencer, using her signature snakelike curves that take over the frame of her photographs and videos to garner new fans.

She is part of something big from this southern city.

Reality TV started trend

With so many successes coming out of Atlanta – think Tyler Perry, John Mayer, Gucci Mane, Dwayne

“The Rock” Johnson – it would seem that reality television might have played a small role in Raja’s decision to relocate from Los Angeles to Atlanta.

She wouldn’t be alone.

If it wasn’t for the success of the Bravo reality show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Raja – along with so many of the celebs that call the city home – may never have recognized what the city truly had to offer.

But “RHOA” was remarkable in that it was the first and inarguably one of the most successful of what would become more than 50 reality shows from the city, including “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta.”

Raja embraces city’s magic

For Raja, Atlanta has been her home during the most pivotal moments of her career thus far, such as when she reached 300,000 followers on Instagram, making her one of the platform’s top-tier entertainers, just a year after she posted her first photo shoot.

The city has been called both exciting and accessible, and it has suited Raja perfectly.

She and her career are smokin’, she’s started to date, and she’s considering big things for her future, including channeling her inner Tyra Banks.

“I aspire to be a tv personality with my own show,” she added. “Right now. I’m just moving where the universe takes me.”
