Following are the average weights the teenage boys and girls must weigh depending upon their heights. All the weights mentioned below are according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Average Weight For Boys

A boy, at the age of 2-years-old, has an average height of 34 inches with a normal weight of 28 pounds. By the age of 4, the boys have an average height of 40 inches with an average weight of 36 pounds. Then, by the age of 6, the boys normally become 45 inches tall and weigh 46 pounds. The boys are 50 inches tall by the age of 8 and have an average weight of 56 pounds.

By the age of 10, the boys become 55 inches tall and weigh 68 pounds. What is the average weight for a 12-year-old boy? They weigh 90 pounds by that age with their average height-raising to 58.5 inches. And by the age of 14, the boys’ height increases to 64 inches and they weigh 112 pounds.

Boys tend to grow more rapidly than the girls normally do once the boys are 16 years old or more. 

Average Weight for Girls

At the age of 2 years old, a girl should normally weigh 27 pounds with an average height of 34 inches. Girls raise to 40 inches by the age of 4, and their average weight becomes 34 pounds. Then by the age of 8, a girl has an average height of 50 inches and her average weight is 58 pounds.

The average height of a 10-year-old girl is 54 inches and her average weight is 72 pounds. The average weight of a 12-year-old girl is 95 pounds and her average height must be 59 inches. In the case of girls, the average weight for 14-year-olds becomes 109 pounds at an average height of 63 inches.

After 14 years of age, the girls’ height tends to withstand, however, the weight can increase to 130 pounds by the age of 18. 

How much weight one can lose in a month?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), one can lose about 1-2 pounds per week. It means that a person can lose about 4-8 pounds in one month.
