She passed away six months after being diagnosed with lung cancer. After the death of Gideon, her husband Barker s insisted that he has no plans on remarrying.

“She was my wife,” he said simply.

Her place of burial is located in Forest Lawn, Los Angeles, California, United States. On his 36th anniversary, he gives a touching tribute to his wife visiting the cemetery of his wife and proves just how strong his love is after more than three decades apart.
